Play/Pause Music
Pressing and holding the button on your AirPods will start playing music through your device.
This means that you can use the AirPods to listen to music during exercise, commute, or any other time when you don’t want to disturb others around you.
If you press and hold the button on the back for two seconds, then you will hear a short tone. This indicates that the AirPods are now playing music. If you release the button, the music will stop.
To pause the music, simply repeat the process. To resume playback, just press and hold the button again.
Answer Calls
When you receive a phone call, the button on the back will vibrate. You can then either tap the button once to accept the call, twice to reject it or three times to decline it.
Turn Up The Volume
Pressing and holding the button on the back while the AirPods are connected to your iPhone will increase the volume level.
You can also double tap the button to decrease the volume.
Siri Control
You can also use the button on the back to activate Siri. Simply say “Hey Siri” when the AirPods are plugged into your iPhone, and Siri will respond.

Control The Volume With The Button
To adjust the volume, press and hold the button until the LED lights up. Then slowly lift your finger off the button.
Pausing Music With The Button
To pause music, press and hold the Air Pod button for two seconds. When the LED lights up, let go of the button.
Resume Playback With The Button
To resume playback, press and hold the Air Pod button for two seconds. Your audio will start to automatically resume, allowing you to enjoy your favorite tunes!
How To Charge Your AirPods
One of the most important elements of AirPods is keeping them charged and ready for any eventuality.
The AirPods come with a charging case that allows them to charge wirelessly, which is an important element of the device – when out of the case, the AirPods will be playing audio, which will wear down the battery.
Remember that your AirPods cannot be switched off – the audio will automatically cease when placed in the case, so it is vital to keep them charged to prevent the battery from draining down.
The charging case, on the other hand, has a built-in battery which will allow the AirPods to stay powered for about six hours after they have been fully charged.
The charging case comes with a USB cable that plugs directly into the Lightning port on your iPhone.
If you want to charge the AirPods without having to remove them from their case, simply plug the cable into the bottom of the case and connect it to your computer via USB.
AirPods require approximately four hours to completely charge. However, if you do not plan on using them right away, you can leave them plugged in overnight and wake up to find them fully charged (see also ‘How Long Do AirPods Take To Charge?‘).
